Company Fires All It's Smokers

http://www.wral.com/news/4126577/detail.htmlHat Tip: Dean's World
Am I the only one who looks at this and thinks that it's pretty creepy? I've never liked the idea of Health Insurance being provided by corporations; they can mandate stuff like this in the name of "keeping costs down." Should it be illegal? Of course not. They're a private company and have a right to fire anybody they like, for any reason, at any time. Should it be socially acceptable? No. It's easy to pick on smokers, as nobody likes them, but companies shouldn't be firing people for private behavior. My influence is of course nil, but I encourage anybody reading this to avoid dealing with Weyco Inc., or any other corporation which persues such tyrannical policies.
